The feels

The power of emotion is intense. Capturing it in seconds is something that always gives me pause while I give a silent nod to the creators of that piece.

To give you inspiration this day, here are some examples that can fire your creative juices. Maybe this will hit just the right note to spark your next initiative.

“What’s Strong with me”. Fitbit knocked it out of the park with this one. This 30-second commercial gets you with one line, only 4 words, and speaks volumes. What's Strong with Me? | Fitbit - YouTube

“Some Choices Matter”. In a little over 3 minutes, this Credit Union commercial connects to the difference that the choice of where you bank makes a difference. “Maddie”. In this 1:13 second video, the vehicle isn’t mentioned until the end. It’s about the deep love of a pet and a lifetime of key milestones along the way. These examples show that when you are bringing your message out to the world, and you connect to the heart, you can put your viewer right there. They can see themselves in your experience.

As a storyteller of your brand, it’s important to really understand who your audience is. What makes them tick? What are they passionate about? Where do they play? How do they spend their time? What are their triggers?

Bringing these questions in, tying to the benefits of your product or service, and then putting the viewer right there with you can launch you and your initiative to the next level.
